Bottle(@Kris Wines; UK):Deep golden, hazy, small creamy white foamy layer with a little lace, not overly dry piney and exotic-fruity nose, completed by a sweetish pale-malty to bisquity background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a creamy MF; lingering - slightly drier - bitter-fruity and bisquity finish. A very well balanced and well quaffable brew…

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, almost cloudy, golden colour with a short and slightly yellow foamy head. Very fruity hoppy aroma with notes of citrus and exotic fruits, such as mango and pineapple, accompanied by a piney/resiny touch. Moderately bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a sparkly mf. Soft malt-character with present hoppy notes, including a cornucopia of fruity flavours as well as lighter piney spice; dry, bitter and delicately sweet and lingering hoppy finish. Nice one. 25.IX.13

Bottled, date 02/07/2013, BB 02/11/2013, large sample. Hazy golden color, short frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy of citrus, gooseberry, lychee, slight buttery hint, some caramel malt, hint of grapefruit. Quite bitter in taste, fruity of citrus. Bit dry in the finish. A bit too harsh on the palate maybe and a bit thin in flavor. Ok IPA.

Bottle shared at JF’s 23/08/13. Hazed golden with a medium sized off white head that retains well. Nose is juicy hops, orange pith, light grapefruit, hint of pine, minerally whiff. Taste comprises juicy hops, mineral bite, light grapefruit, orange pith, hint of mango. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with a good dose of hop bitterness. Decent IPA - well balanced, ticks all the boxes!

3rd August 2013
Brewdog Camden. Bottle. Light haze on this gold beer. Tidy pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth with a minerally crisp trailing edge. Smooth creamy malt, just nice, not too thick or thin. Really nice hop combo here - starts with a bright lemon - orange note. Then orange sherbet and mildly bitter pine. Touch of orange pith and mild hop spice. Traces of pink grapefruit and grapefruit peel. Finishes mildly minty. Lovely stuff!

In bottle and consumed ’Partizan’, Saturday 17th August 2013 Pours hazy amber with white head. Soft in mouth, with a real thrusting bitterness, this was really moreish and much the better in a comparison with the Black Pepper, Ginger and Liberty Hop Saison. Like Kernel I think this sort of beer is where Partizans strength lies. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the brewery. Pours cloudy gold with a moderate, foamy white head. Loads of dry, pithy citrus on the nose, tangerine, orange, stone fruits. Light to light-medium sweetness with a cleansing mineral quality, mellow bitterness, lots of semi-dry citrus fruits like orange, tangerine, grapefruit, hints of peach and other stone fruits. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Light sticky citrus hop finish with plenty more drying tangerine and orange, cleansing minerals, faint dry pale bread, hints of pine. I wasn’t crazy about this beer at first but it really grew on me as I got into it.
