Tap @ Beer Temple, small sample, Putting it under this entry, as the beer arrived early June, so I’m guessing it’s the Spring version (and is now confirmed by BeerTemple). Will relocate when necessary. Hazy pale yellow color, medium frothy head. Aroma of citrus, funk, grainy wheat, bit white wine almost. Soft sourness in taste, bit sweet as well. All perfectly balanced and utterly refreshing as all the Crooked Staves I have had so far. Really great stuff once again.

Enjoyed on tap at the Crooked Stave Taproom in Denver, CO while sampling some brews. Appearance is a cloudy gold with a moderate bubbly white head. Aroma of light stinky cheese and citrus, smells delicate. Taste is great, goes down with orange peel / citrus notes with a faint but present sourness that is fantastic. Really quality choice stuff.

Crisp, completely clear amber and copper coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall large-bubbled tan head that fades very fast. Aroma of sour grapes, alcohol, oak, brett, lemons and a bit more pungent yeast notes - nice and mouthwatering, for sure. Light-bodied; Sharp pungent flavour of sour grapes and cherries with a strong kick of citrus and dry oak right afterwards. The sour flavour hits right behind the ears and shows a touch of malt and body on the finish with a little unfinished candy sugar noticeable as well. Overall, a very nicely done beer, however classified wrong on here - this is easily a sour/wild ale instead of a belgian white, but regardless, a solid beer with a nice profile and even better complexity that persists throughout the sample.
