English Pale malts coupled with Challenger and Goldings hops provide the bitterness and aroma. The result is a highly distinctive light, golden ale, with caramel aromas, a pleasing toffee apple flavour and a late bitterness.

Cask at the Jerusalem Tavern on 22nd November 2016. Golden amber with shallow smooth white foam and full lacing. Toffee, caramel and spices in aroma. Bitter hops in-mouth rounded by warmly sweet caramel malts. Fruity finish with toffee and biscuit malt and a bitter note in the upper mouth. Medium-bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

500ml bottle into an ’Old Speckled Hen’ badged vase shaped pint glass at home on 17th March 2016. Lunchtime drink with some rustic brown bread and pate. Clear golden pour, weak and wispy white head, even with a robust pour. Mild aroma of hops, taste also hop centric with a bitter nature and I can see why the brewery claim it is ’similar in character to a full bodied Czech lager’. The malts came into their own as the beer warmed a little and it became a little sweeter. Refreshing, thirst quenching and an ideal beer for my little meal.

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with a small diminishing white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity malts, hops. Flavour is like that too. Some hoppy bitterness in the finish. Overall similar to a lager, nice but I’ll probably forget this one.

Pours clear golden color with medium white head. Smell of malts, caramel, yeast. Thin body with medium carbonation. Bittersweet taste. Aroma of malts, caramel, yeast, herbal and floral notes. Finish is dry. Overall, a bit disappointed with this one. It feels like lager, lacking any distinctive character. Quite a boring beer.

Bottle 0,5l. Cloudy, light orange colored beer. Very nice fruity aroma- citrus, apples, apricots, hint of tropical fruits, spicy, pale malt on background. Full malty bodied, fruity flavours, slightly sweet, bitter.
Tasty ale.

Ambar clara, turbia. Escasa espuma. Aroma escaso, especiado. Inicialmente seca y amarga, evolucionando hacia un mayor dulzor, de miel, y un ligero recuerdo frutal.

Pours a slightly hazy golden color, topped with a small(ish) white head. malty aroma with some caramel notes and herbal hops present too. Taste starts malty with grassy/herbal body and moderate bitterness. Not a bad one, but nothing special.
