500ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with huge, frothy, fairy lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney, resinous hop aroma, some orange. Taste is dry, minimally biting bitter hoppy, hints of pine, fruity notes of grapefruit and mango; prickling carbonation. Light body, but full of taste thanks to the excellent hopping. Good.

Cask @ cask pub and kitchen, small sample. Hazy yellow color, short head. Aroma of grassy hop, some citrus, bit spicy even. Very bitter and very dry. Lacks body and the dryness sucks all life from my tongue. Too crisp and dry for me, unbalanced.

Consumed at home in the company of Loz, Jackie & Simon 03.08.13 Pours pale gold clear slight haze, looks good with a white head atop. Wonderful nose quite tropical, pineapple and also a little grapefruit. Absolutely stunning for the abv, my only criticism is that it is a little sweet, otherwise it has so muvh flavour and wonderfully drinkable, A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov17 4.0

Keg at CP&K. It pours hazy gold head with a small white head. The nose is juicy orange, tangerine, mango and earth. The taste is grapefruit, tangerine, earth, straw, good bitterness, minerals and grass with a dry, bitter finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Good bitterness and drinkabilty. Perhaps a touch thin, but still pretty decent.

Craft Clerkenwell. Keg. Light haze on this gold beer, little white head. Light and minerally crisp palate. Thin malt, just about enough to support the hops. Nice fresh grapefruit, not too bitter. Mild skunk. Light minerally finish with an orange peel bitter linger.

Cask at the 2013 Maidenhead Beer Festival. Hazy pale amber colour with a loose white head; attractive trpoical fruit aroma; sweet tropical fruit taste with a good blast of hops, some resinous, some fruity and some woody, all contributing to bitter but fruity finish. Hardly a hop monster, but certainly a fully flavoured, lowish alcohol beer.

Cask @ Stockbridge Tap, Edinburgh [090713]
Amber, slight haze, dense white head, some lacing
Nose of soft fruits, citrus hop, slight grassy hop. soft sweet fruity malt
Taste of quite bitter grassy hop, bit piney, soft fruity malt background
Palate - Medium body, good mouthfeel for abv. Finish - bit of grassy hop, soft bitter initially then gets more intense with the drinking but doesn’t get too musch, good texture for abv
Overall - Hardly ’violently’ hoppy, good flavour for abv though
