Poured into a plastic cup on the Shinkansen showing dark brown, barely any filtration, and light carbonation on the sides with no head. The nose shows a lot of grainy malts with light notes of pineapple and a little mango. The palate is lightly carbonated and medium to full bodied. Flavors of balanced malt and some light cannabis with a light bitterness. Very british in style, subtle yet easy to drink with no flaws but nothing outstanding.

Bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Hazy amber. Dense, messy, lasting, just off white head. Grainy malt. Toffee malt. Some flora, then above all that a distinctive blood orange, hoppy sweetness. Taste is rising, pithy bitter. A touch of spice. Creamy mouthfeel. Light, and airy, but with a nice hop punch. Finishes long, light bitter. Excellent.

330ml bottle from Deguchiya in Naka-Meguro. Poured into a snifter. Pours a gorgeous hazy golden orange color with a modest frothy head. Nice aromas of pine, grapefruit with floral notes as well. Tap at Ant ’n Bee, Roppongi. Hazy amber color, small off-white head. Aroma has fruityness and some earthy hops. Medium-bodied. Grapefruit, caramel and some exotic fruits in the flavor. Medium-bitterness. Nice.

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is floral hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a big resin floral hop mint palate and a lingering minty hop bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. It took a while for this to grow on me. About 30 seconds to be precise :-) Quite an upfront beer but it certainly quenches the tastebuds!

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, fruity hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, caramel malt, sharp hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20131012]

5.5% bottle from Yamaya near Kyoto City hall. Drunk from the bottle. A decent herbal hoppy aroma. A bitter but slightly fruity taste, I get peach, citrus & pine. Well made.

Hazy amber beer, tidy white head. Palate is soft but with minerally carbonation. Soft, airy creamy malt. Nice tangerine hops, little peel. Finishes with a carbonated nip. Tasty and very drinkable.
