This golden coloured ale boasts a grain bill featuring 6 different malts, which together provide a full flavoured yet not overpowering foundation for vibrant American and New Zealand hops. The majority of the hops are added late in the boil to keep the aromatics fresh, fruity and floral and the bitterness moderate.

Dark blond colour with thin head. Quite sweet. Something of yellow stone fruit. Slightly sweet overall.

28/10/2021. Cask at the 2021 Norwich Beer Festival. Pours clear bright gold with a small frothy white head. Lovely looking beer. Aroma of straw, citrus, malt, tropical fruit, flowers, caramel. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Husky bitter finish. Good.

500ml bottle from Green Dragon Ale House, Whitby. 4.6% Gluten Free. Golden colour, white foamy head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of pale malt, citric, yeasty. Taste is malt, grain, some biscuit with citrus notes and tangy bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry metallic bitter finish. Quite OK

Clear golden, thin head. Light aroma of sour citrus. Taste is bitter. Hop, grapefruit, lemon. Not overpowering though. Tangy aftertaste. A bit cooler and it’d be perfect for summer.

Cask, handpump at the St Aldates Tavern, Oxford, Saturday 31st January 2015 Pours hazy warm gold with a slim white head. Reasonably hoppy with a hoppy nose also. Ok but expecting more, in fact I was a tad disappointed. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Bottle.Nose is stale, yeasty, dry slight champagne oddly. Not appetising. Taste is lightly bitter, slight butterscotch slight biscuit. Mouthfeel is thin. This is a beer I can’t recall the taste of seconds after it passes my lips; from other reviews I suspect it’s much better on cask.
