Cask at the 18th Egham Beer Festival. Chestnut with loose translucent head; bready aroma; thin with some purple fruit, caramel and chocolate; then a dry lightly bitter finish with some lingering chocolate. A good mild.

Cask at Pigs Ear BF 2012, London. Pours clear brown with a light, creamy head. Dusty bread on the nose, dirt. Light sweet flavor with faint dark fruits. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Bland finish, light sweetness, more dirt and vague fruits. Pretty dire, to be honest.
