Keg@CBC2013 Deep brown color, small beige head. Lots of wood, alcohol in the nose, maybe some bourbon. Medium to full bodied. Fresh wood, some vanilla, bourbon, sweetish flavors. Simple and sweetish (for being BA) but not too bad.

Sampled at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013 - Day 2, Session 2. Pours dark brown with a creamy beige cap. Rich dark sugar aroma with touches of dark fruits and overripe apples. Hugely sweet flavor with more dark fruits, grapes, apple, molasses. Full bodied with fine carbonation and oily texture. Moderately warming to finish with sugary dark malts, bread and rich, ripe fruits. Very decadent and insanely tasty.

On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013. It's really dark and ruby brown this and it has a small islandy and sidesticking dark beige head. Sugary sweet, lots of dark glazed fruits on the sweet nose, and wood, yeah it has some good amount of dry okay wood as well. Some zesty fruits shines through, dark candied sugar and prunes. Nice dark flavors. It's almost a bit roasted in a way. Salty and fruity with lots of dark black dried fruits. Some yeast as well. The zesty kind. Oily mouthfeel and above average on the carbonation level. Oaty and really mouthdrying in the finish. Lots of complexity with many small nuances of fruits and sweetness. Really impressive. 04.05.2013
