An amber ale with hints of orange and a rich creamy foam. The caramel aromas, fruit and honey make it organic and full of bite. It is particularly pleasant due to the texture of soft wheat and barley.

Hazy burnt orange, creamy white head.  Nose has grain and bread and yeast.  Flavors same.  Simple but effective.  Clean and mostly dry.  5 4 5 3 10

750 ml capped bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. BB date 26.08.2014. ABV is 6.7%. Copper colour, moderate to low off-white head. Sweetish malty aroma with notes of caramel and honey, some spicy hints. Medium sweet and malty flavour, fairly distinct notes of honey, also caramel. A slight fruitiness helps the drinkability, but as in so many other Italian beers, the hops are far too moderate.

Bottle, 75cl. It pours a lightly hazy amber body under a minimal sized off-white head, just a few bubbles actually. Caramel notes and some malts in the aroma, dried fruits too. Fruity flavor with some prunes and caramel and a touch of bitterness and malts. Medium body and a very low level of carbonation. Short finish. Sure drinkable, but way too boring. 141128

750ml bottle bought via Vinmonopolet, Bestillingsutvalget (Langnes). Crystal clear amber coloured body. Low bubbly rings to the rim of the surface. Spiced fruity aroma joined by caramel malts, half-dry. Spiced flavours, almost perfumed, alongside notes of herbs, almond and mid-sweet malts. Spiced bittersweet endnotes, mid-dry. Medium plus bodied. Different and quite alright (shared with Finn, Elisabeth and Stefan, Tromsø 09.04.2014).

Flaske fra polet: særdeles kortvarig skum. Svak duft av sommerblomster og honning. Liten karbonering gjør at helehtsinntrykket blir intetsigende og flatt. Absolutt drikkbart, men forglemmelig.

750 ml bottle. Unclear amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma is mainly malty with some caramel and gives a sweet impression. Flavor is sweet malt, some caramel, a bit fruity with hint of honey and moderate bitterness. Medium body and decent aftertaste. Decent, a bit sweet and quite safe beer.
