Draught@Ölbaren, Copenhagen (2006 rating found in old notebooks, not entered on RB). Pale coppery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some fruits, alcohol, toffee, mild wooden tones with some figs and dates. Flavour is dates, alcohol, some figs, wooden and mild dried fruity with toffee too. A bit on the boozy side of things.

Keg@CBC2013 Hazy brown color, small off-white head. Sweet, toffeish, diacetylic(?) nose. Medium-bodied. Flavor is also sweet: it has alcohol, some hops and toffeish notes known as diacetyl. Not among the best from Mikkeller.

Draught @ CBC2013. Pours clear goldenish amber with a small goldenish white head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is sweet, fruity and floral with caramel, sweet dark bread, biscuits, lemon zest, orange zest, pine needles, grass, alcohol and resinous wood. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty with caramel, sweet dark bread, biscuits, toffee, grapefruit rinds, lemon zest, orange zest, grass, pine needles, red berries, resinous wood and alcohol. Mouthfeel is slightly sticky sweet, slightly astringent, slightly round and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet, bitter and malty with sweet dark bread, caramel, toffee, golden syrup, citrus zest, grass, resinous wood and pine needles.

Draught @ CBC 2013 [ Blue Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013, Sparta Hallen, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 11, 2100 Copenhagen, DenmarkClear medium to dark amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, dried fruit, earthy, moldy - fusty, alcohol. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, moldy - fusty, caramel, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20130504]

Tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013 - Session III. Pours clear copper with a creamy head. Rich bready malts nose, some toffee, hints of butterscotch. Heavy sweet flavor with rich bread and toffee, dates and figs. Full bodied with fine, chewy carbonation. Lightly warming, sticky finish with more toffee, bread, ripe fruits, figs, golden raisins. Very good.

CBC. Hazy amber beer, little pale tan head. Palate is minerally crisp. Sweet malts with bubblegum esters. Light aniseed alcohol. Dry spicy finish. Big flavours but overall a bit clunky!

[5/4/13] Draught at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013. Murky amber. Weird alcoholic and fruity aroma. Alcoholic flavor, sweet, malty, honey-ish and fruity.
