Bottle thanks to LKS. It pours hazy hazy golden - orange with a decent white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, bready, orange sponge cake, touch of spice, candied peel and marmalade. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, toasty grain, orange sponge cake, marmalade, bready, alcohol, toasty grain, cereal and earth with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not bad boosty lager.

Bottle shared in Hackney - sourced from Clapton Craft. Pours mostly clear orange-gold with a small, foamy white head. The nose has some crusty pale bread, aged citrus peel. Light sweet flavour with a little grassy bitterness, husks, orange peel. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more husky, sun-kissed grains, more dried and aged citrus peel. An alright lager. Perhaps a touch aged. Not bad.

Bottle from the new brewery in Ponders End. Deep amber brown colour lasting cream head. A little fresh toast on the aroma. Smooth in the mouth. Some toffee. Some good fresh hop profile. Some creaminess in the mouth. Wonderful carbonation. It’s an excellent strong kellerbier. Not really a marzen. A maibock maybe. Really liked it. So drinkable
