On tap at the brewery Bermondsey. Very dark ruby lasting beige head. Yes i can see the scotch ale in this. Light salted caramel character malty fruits some jam some victoria sponge cake. Fresh. Salt is more on the finish. Yes i mean its quite entertaining. Hides abv well. Entertaining sweet salty beer. Ok.

Keg at Fourpure. It pours deep red - brown with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, toffee, fudge, plenty of dried fruits, plum, fruit cake, jam and Victoria sponge. The taste is sweet, toffee, fudge, salted caramel, raisin, fruit cake, spiced, cocoa and a touch of alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A touch sweet perhaps, but pretty good fun.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear copper-brown with a thin, creamy head. Toasted caramel in the nose, brown bread, dates. Medium sweet flavour with rounded, ripe berry character, restrained caramel, minimal bitterness, toasted bready malts. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with faint warmth, simple sweet bready malts, more mild caramel, ripe berries, figs. Not bad. Fairly basic.

Keg at the brewery. A mud nut brown coloured pour with no head. Aroma is subdued, some sweet malts, toast and apple. Flavour is composed of sweet malts, nutty, toffee, hint of apple,. Sickly sweet malts, hint of salt. Palate is is sticky sweet, highish carbonation. Not a lot to it for the high abv.
