Bottle, source not recorded. Poured golden with a small just off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, fruit, flowers and straw. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Slight oily texture, bit above average carbonation. One of those that doesn't seem to have taken well to bottling.

500ml Bottle:BBD 19 Apr 2013. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard 7 days before it’s BBD. Slight haze to my golden beer with a large foamy, white head: carbonisation bubbles rising throughout the tasting. Pleasant blend of flavours, hops first with the biscuity malts taking over mid-way through the sip, which in turn gave way to a semi-bitter dry hop finish. Most likely the best Diamond Jubilee beer I’ve had so far (one more in my stash).

Aroma is quite fruity with some light floral hop. It’s really smooth and easy to drink. Has a great balance of flavour. Lightly fruity malt and a fresh hoppy finish with just a light bitterness.

Bottle for £1 from Tesco. Sweet weetabix malts, boiled sweet fruitiness and a moderately bitter finish. This showed most of the characteristics of a badly bottled English bitter. Sink pour, looks like I got a bad one.

Still being sold off at a pound a bottle at Tesco’s, Andover. Amber with a billowing cream head; grassy hop aroma with a touch of lemon; soft, malty body; with some clean hops to finish. According to the label these are fresh aromatic hops from around the Commonwealth - but they seem to be maily Fuggles and Goldings to me.

Bottle at Leighton’s Euro Semi-Final tasting. It pours golden yellow, with a medium white head. The nose is sulphur, egg, dough and grass. The taste is corn, dough, hay, straw, plastic, grass and lemon pith, with a dry finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. Not for me....

Bottle at the Semi-Final Tasting, London. Pours clear gold with a small, fluffy white foam. Some doughy and biscuity malts on the nose. Light sweet flavor, some doughy pale malts, mild straw and faint lemon. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Slightly dry finish, some weak straw and dough, faint white sugar. Nice and fresh. Pretty good.
