16.9 oz. can from the Costco 2025 German Biergarten Collection. Pours a mostly clear gold color with a white head and good retention. Good lacing too. Very faint bready aroma. Full body pale malt flavor with a very bready finish. Super smooth and clean. Very repeatable and very satisfying. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness. Good beer. Prost!

500ml can from the Costco German Biergarten Collection (as a 5.6% ABV Premium Weihnachts Festbier). It's a BBQ and Pool Day here in Laguna Hills according to my grand daughters, so I've been in the pool and am now having my third new rate in the shade awaiting the BBQ bit of the day. This poured into an old Corsendonk stemmed tulip glass looked fine; bright, clean and clear golden body, huge (at first) billowing white head. Fruity, malty flavour, aroma not so inviting. Liked the feel of this but not the small that came from it, boiled rotting fruit came to mind.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. A Xmas gift off the missus. 5.8%. Clear medium gold. Slim but dense lasting white foam. Semi sweet grain and leafy herbaceous hop. Clean overall with a little dryness. Clean finish. Swallowed it whole more or less.

Bottle from the Lidl Fest box. Pours just-clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of cereal grains, bready malt, light floral hops. Taste adds caramel. Dry finish.

500ml bottle from the Lidl festbier box. Pours pale gold with a light mist, white head. Aroma of malt grain, yeast. Presents a nicely clean flavour profile, very harmonised with a prominent malt sweetness, floral shades, dry close. Quite a straightforward, simplistic character. Ok overall.

Bottle from the Aldi/Kalea Oktoberfest box. Brooklands branch. Aroma has sweet dough, spice and a hint of damp cardboard. Clear gold. Thick foamy white head. Light-medium bitter. Citrus. Metallic. Light grains. A sweet caramel doughy streak throughout. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long finish. Nice enough
