Tap at Cat&Barrell. Pours opaque black with medium light brown head. Aroma is intense roasted malt, coffee, cocoa nips, dark chocolate, vanilla and brown sugar. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter and faint salty. Body is creamy with soft carbonation Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of malt, caramel, vanilla, cocoa nibs, dark chocolate, bourbon. Very smooth, rich and in balance

330 ml bottle, as Ebeltoft Damn Dark Stout VII, from the brewery. Unpasteurised and unfiltered. ABV is 8.5%. Black colour, small tan head. Aroma of roast malts, English liquorice and chocolate. Soft mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. Moderately sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, hints of coffee, moderate bittering hops.

Jet black with a rich beige head. Dark chocolate and dark fruit. Dark fruit and nice balanced chocolate. Solid and rich on the palate.

Tap. Pours Black with a small creamy head. Good Dark malts. Very Smooth. Light ashes. Caramel and licorice. Roast. Bitter finish. Very British and Quite Pleasant and Well made.

Date says 09/2016 which I assume means Bottled at. black color, small coffee-colored head. smells nutty, hazelnuts, marzipan, not much other smells. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes nutty, marzipan, licorice, some caramel, some coffee, bit yoghurty, spices. finishes lightly sweet with notes of marzipan, nuts and spices. ok overall but not overly special

Bottle 0.5l from trade with Camons, many thanks, René! Really dark red to brown colored. AROMA- dark chocolate, nougat, alcohol, touch of licorice. FLAVOR- velvety texture, slightly sweet, lightly bitter, warming, chocolate, nougat, note of sour cherries, slightly coaly finish. Fuller bodied.
