Phantasmagoria is an IPA that is low in malt flavors, but high in hops. We brew this beer as a nod to the big hoppy beers of the west coast. We use loads of citrusy and piney hops at the end of the boil and in the fermenter to make this beer a hop experience.

Flarra Hovshaga. Ljusgul halmig färg. Doftar hav . Ohh så fint krämig i munnen . Perfekt beska. Mogna frukter , typ päron i smaken. Men efter ett tag känner jag mer och mer apelsin toner..Provat 4 svenska KASSA Dipor ich nu känns det vad kvalité är.

355ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish, deep golden colour with late awakening, small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney and citrusy, hoppy aroma, notes of pineapple and orange zest. Taste is citrusy and piney, bitter hoppy, caramel malty basis with a touch of almond, notes of orange zest, pineapple, tangerine; lasting bitter finish. Soft carbonation, smooth palate, juicy mouthfeel. Good.

355ml bottle from Kihoskh. Pours clear orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of zesty orange, sweetish caramely malts, stingy pine needles and ripe fruitiness. Taste is sweetish, smooth and slightly caramely malty with some juicy ripe tropical fruits, pine, citrus and orange peel. Finish is slightly hoppy, sweetish and smooth with some ripe tropical fruits, hints of bitterness, warming alcohol and orange peel. A bit unbalanced, feels a bit lacking.

Hazy gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is very light and fairly dry, good fine carbonation. Light malts with light creamy sweetness. Mild spicy pine. Ripe tropical fruits, particularly mango and orange. Very mild hop skunk. Smooth finish. Quite mellow by today’s standards. Pretty drinkable.

Bottle from Old Town. Pours a hazy golden copper with a finger of foam that dissipates quickly. Big ruby red grapefruit nose with some light peach and apricot notes....maybe a touch of stone fruit. Light caramel and malt, but the body feels light. Mostly dry finish. It’s not bad, but honestly pretty run-of-the-mill.
