Phantasmagoria is an IPA that is low in malt flavors, but high in hops. We brew this beer as a nod to the big hoppy beers of the west coast. We use loads of citrusy and piney hops at the end of the boil and in the fermenter to make this beer a hop experience.

A dark orange beer, a head is blond and medium. Aroma has strong sweetness, riped fruitness, also some glue. Taste has dried fruitness, sweetness, mild bitterness. Medium bodied. I couldn’t find any indication of age, thus cannot blaim of that. Disappointment.

Tap@Himmeriget, Copenhagen - fuzzy orange pour with white head and lacing. Aroma and taste is a pleasing medley of tropical and citrus fruit, some peachy and grapefruit action, a splash of tangerine across the palate, nice piney hoppy medium bitter close. Lovely.

This beer was almost $5 for a 12 oz bottle, so ridiculously expensive. A great appearance on this beer, cloudy orange, little pieces of sediment and highly carbonated with a tall, long lasting white head. Carbonation is less noticeable on the palate, where it is soft and smooth like a New England IPA. Flavor is a combination of sweet malt and moderately bitter hops, which seem a little old and some dust. A little pine. Good palate, dry flavor and I wouldnt’ be surprised if some brett sneaked its way in.
