Cask at Brew Wharf, London. Pours clear brown with a light, beige foam head. Dry chocolate and toasted malts in the nose. Medium sweet flavor with nice milk chocolate character, delicate roast, toasted brown bread and very mellow earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Lightly drying on the finish with a bit of dirt, restrained chocolate malts, soft roast, light sweetness. Great balance here. Very subtle hints of filter coffee. A wonderful brown ale.

Cask at White Horse Parsons Green, Old Ale Festival - 23/11/12. Very dark mahogony brown with a thin tan head. Nose is light roast malt, toffee, caramel, trace of nuts. Taste is malt forward, barley, dark tofee, nuts come to life more than on the nose. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth on the palate, roasty finish.

Cask handpull at Brew Wharf. A beer brewed by my friends Ang and Mario. What could go wrong? Clear deep brown colour lasting thin beige head. Its an odd brown ale bit of nuttyness some hoppiness. Pretty decent and it grew on me. Hops are pretty good. Give a good finish to it. Yes tasty

Cask at the brewpub with Sarah. Pours a clear brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a bit of light roast and chocolate with some sweet dark grains. Flavor starts with lighter grains with some sweetness and a good amount of bread.

Cask at White Horse SW6. It pours very dark brown with a medium beige head. The nose is fairly subtle.... toast, earth and salted caramel. The taste is roasted malt, toast, nut, caramel, pepper, dark chocolate and earth with a rather dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A solid brown ale.

Clear but very dark brown beer. Small pale tan head. Palate is smooth but with a crispy edge. Nice fresh malts - semi sweet with a touch of chocolate. Just a whisper of sweet candy fruits before a minerally finish that provides balancing bitterness and a little citrus. All flavours in good balance. Tasty and very drinkable.
