As bold as brass and in your face beer. A hoppy red ale with a touch of caramel sweetness to start, then light nuttiness with a heavily hopped bitter finish.

‘Ave an absolute blinding time, ducking and diving with the Geezer.

Cask at that massive Spoons in Guildford. I feels dirty but not as dirty as whatever was going on when I was having a dump. Aroma has dark berries and malts. Clear dark brown. Foamy translucent white head. Medium bitter. Grainy. Sour berries. Quinine edge. Light-medium bodied. Slick..Soft-fizzy carbonation. Punchy if not overly exciting.

Brown/slightly amber pour with a decent white head. Aromas of (roasted) malt, dried fruit, some toffee. Taste added some chestnut. Enjoyed it.

25th August 2014
Bright clear deep amber beer, untidy pale cream colour head. Palate is semi dry and crisp. Thin malts, trace of sweetness. Sharp minerals. Whisper of smoke. Nice marmalade, slightly sharp a very light touch of lemon underneath. Dry crispy finish. Nicely joined up and tasty.
