Bottle at the ChrisO Snow Tasting, London - thanks to Ian! Pours perfectly clear yellow with a light, white cream head. Big perfume aroma, some white dough and rotting fruits. Big sweet flavor with further perfume character, some hay. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Lightly warming to finish with mild bitter hay, perfume and white sugar. Tasty, interesting.

Bottle at ChrisO Snow Tasting, thanks to Ian. It pours golden yellow with a tiny white head. The nose is quite clean... grass, soft fruit, pear, melon and subtle herbal accents. The taste is initially relatively sweet, then dough, pear, melon, herbal, spice, metal and some bitterness with a dry, lightly spicy finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Ok, but definitely not my thing.

Draught (La Tireuse, Toulouse as "Lepers 8")
Hazy orange color, good creamy off-white head. Ginger spicey and fruity nose. Medium-bodied. Sweet fruity flavor, overriped banana and ginger. Sweetish, some alcohol. Pleasant.

A hazed light blonde ale with a thin white head. Aroma is quite interesting, with nice herbal qualities, light lactic notes, veering on gueuze and light honey. In mouth, a very sweet honey overlayed with coriander, light acidic points, a tad cloying but overall, not bad. 750 ml bottle from Cave a Bulles, Paris, May 2010.

Bottled. Hazy golden, rich airy head. Fruity nose wth bisuity yeast and wormwood. Mid sweet and heavily herbal with lively mouthfeel and solid, vital body. Lingering herbal bitterness. Complex and very interesting.
