Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Pale amber with a thin white head; floral aroma; floral, biscuity, taste with a grainy body; lightly bitter finish with a touch of spice. A less than outstanding bitter.

Cask at Bishop Vesey; light golden amber pour with a creamy white head, malty aroma, taste has pale malts, citrus.

Sun Inn autumn beer festival, Kelvedon. Lightly hazy gold beer, bubbly white head. Palate is light and smooth and dry. A little fine carbonation. Light dry pale malt. Bitter floral note. Grapefruit pith and a little orange citrus and gooseberry. Light dry finish. Not bad.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2012, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.Clear medium yellow orange colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, apple - wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, wood, malty, fruity, wood bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily and light sticky, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120808]

Cask@GBBF2012. Golden colour, small white head. aroma is fruity, caramelly, some earthy and mild citrusy notes. Flavour is caramel, fruits, herbs and some mild toffeeish notes. Balanced and enjoyable.

Supremely smooth in the palate, and has a very pleasant light bitterness with a mild hop character.

Cask gravity at Notts BF 05. Golden beer with no head. Diacetyl destroys it. Buttery everywhere. Finish has some hop but the diacetyl dominates
