Our Imperial Saison captured a bold celebratory shout of apricot and peach in a bottle. Both bright and bold this is a lively truly living beer. Bottle conditioned with rare Belgian yeast and soured to illuminate its copper hued body. Ginger and Grains of Paradise promiscuously dance with Styrian Golding hops. Wipe winter from your brow and enjoy now or attempt to resist its siren song and lay down in your cellar.

Bottle from Bu11zeye. Pours amber with a slight off-white head. Aroma is a little cooked caramel. With fruit. Med body or so. Flavor is a bit cooked caramel and some lightly sour fruit. Not quite dry. Malt tends to obscure a bit of earthiness. May be over age. Comes out finally like sucking a peach pit.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a sample glass. Pours translucent tawny with small off-white head. Taste is tart with some ginger. Not my thing.

Hazy amber beer. Thick white head. The head is quite orange and lemon sherbet. Dry palate. Very tart fruit (but not quite sour). Orange and lemon in abundance, enough to make you blink. Even malt base. Undertone of banana. An odd beer and I don’t think it will define the ’Imperial Saison’ style.

Thanks to madmitch for that one. Bottle looks really good, simple but good. Beer in the glass brownish, huge head. Starts mild, fine spicy, modest sourish. Fruity notes of plum and melon. Finish intense fruity, mild malty-spicy, still sourish. Not too drinkable, but a beer to enjoy!
