Notes from September 2009 Two by two this mixed six goes, into an way over-sized tulip. A hill of stiff eggshell white head, a cloudy honey-colored body. Smell is upfront with sour wheat & general stuffiness. Further down the road, a squeeze of orange, macerated spices(a little too much cinnamon), & something like lemon sugar cookies way in the back. Taste is predominately semi-sweet grain. Whipped up(if dusty) consistency. The coriander & grains of paradise stand out more then the rest of the additives, with the cranberry just barely making an appearance, tarting up the back end, & lingering along with a sharp grassy note. I don't think it's refreshing.

2nd October 2009
Bottle purchased in a Las Vegas liquor store. Hazy amber beer. Short lived suddy white head. Orange and cranberry dominate the soft dry palate. Spice is here to. Would have preferred more fruit and less spice. Okay.

Pours a cloudy dark peach color with a fluffy white head that sticks around forever. Smells of spicy wheat, fruity with cranberry and grape coming to mind. Tastes like a fruited wheat beer with some spices thrown in and a tart cranberry in the finish. Light body, crisp carbonation, sticky/watery mouthfeel. Light, fruity beer that might be just the thing on a hot summer day.l

bottle - Pours hazy yellow-orange with a one finger, very long lasting white head. It smells of wheat and berries. The flavor is sweet and fruity with good berry and wheat taste. It has a creamy mouth feel and while it’s all about the sweetness, it’s not overpowering. Pretty good.

Very hazy golden coloured body with a mild orange tint and a very thin slightly off-white head. Aroma of wheat, coriander seed, cranberries, yeast, tart cherries and a touch of grassy funk. Medium-bodied; Mild wheatie flavour with a touch of cranberries or raspberries, some mild citrus and a lot of overpowering, slightly stale wheat and malt. Aftertaste is a bad bitterness, some soapy touches, a light offensive mustiness and a touch sour citrus. Overall, not good at all in the taste - definitely worse than a non-offensive beer, this one shows bad. Too bad - I was expecting this to be much better. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle pulled from the sampler six pack, purchased from Total Wine in Chantilly, Virginia on 11-July-2009, sampled at home in Washington on 18-January-2010.
