A light coloured and beautiful translucent green premium ale, traditionally brewed using only the finest quality of Stonehenge Spring Water, barley and wheat malts, whole hops and the brewery’s own top-fermenting yeast and a drop of green magic. This beer is incredibly smooth and rich in both malt and hop aroma, the finish is delightfully fruity and pleasantly bitter.

Cheesy aroma, eerie green color (!), slightly cloudy appearance, minimal head, medium bitter taste, medium body, bitter finish. The first look is shocking (its GREEN) but after the first gulp, it’s not bad at all.

cask from Mudlark in London - Pours an odd green hue. There’s a light, mildly hopped aroma. The flavor is of a mild bitter. It’s very easy to drink and finishes with some nice hops on the palate. Pretty good.

Cask at the Hobgoblin, Reading. Extremely unusual; pours a lime green with a white head; almost like a pint of lime and lemonade; but the first taste shows that this is definitely a beer. Clean fresh flavour, rather light in body, with a gently bitter finish. An excellent spring ale.

Cask at the Southampton Arms on 30th March 2010. Lime green with very little head. Fruity with quite a bitter finish on a textured slightly zingy mouthfeel. Easy drinking.

Cask @ 3 Judges. Clear green colour, off-white head. Aroma is slightly malty. Flavour of biscuit malts, fruits, hint of glue, sourness. Looks weird, tastes less than average.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 5/05/09. Weird, light green in colour with a slight, off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with a touch of grassy hop. Flavour of sweet digestives, with something herbal lurking in the background and a short, bitter finish. Gimicky.

(Cask at Black Friar, Blackfriars, London, 18 Apr 2009) Clear green colour with brief, white head. Fruity, malty nose with biscuits and dusty hops. Slightly closed. Fruity, malty taste with notes of grass, biscuity malts and some dusty hops in the finish. Emphasis seems to be more on making a green beer than a decent bitter. Fairly boring (apart from the colour).

Cask, Philarmonic, Liverpool. Oh lordy, a green beer, well that’s a new one on me. Actually looks pretty cool. Fragrant hop aroma, light fairly watery body. A grassy hop affair with some gentle bitterness. All pretty ho hum sadly.
