Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 15th May 2022. Clear copper with shallow off-white foam and spot lacing. Nutty, caramel malt aroma. Hazelnut nuttiness in-mouth and a satisfying malt finish. Light body and a textured mouthfeel. Great to have a mild at Craft Covent Garden!

Cask at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured a clear reddish brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is light malt, some fruity hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light dry fruit, metallic hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. More like a red ale than a mild. I notice the word "mild" has now been removed from the pump clip too.

Cask at the White Horse Old Ale Festival, 19/11/15. Rich amber with reddish hues topped with a decent beige covering. Nose is biscuit, toffee, light spice, fruit rinds, straw. Taste comprises biscuit malt, grain, brown bread, shades of candied fruit. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, a touch thin and watery, semi drying close. Average mild ... A little too watery.

(Cask at Harp, Covent Garden, London, 28 Nov 2014) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with nuts, caramel and dark fruit. Malty, nutty taste with notes of caramel, dark fruit, nuts, dark bread and a gentle bitterness. Light body, with a touch of sweetness. Well balanced and tasty mild. Quite nice.

Cask at the Rose & Crown, Sandhurst. Deep chestnut in colour with a tight cream head that leaves lots of lacing on the glass; earthy aroma; sweet nutty malt taste with some chocolate and coffee; and a dry biscuity finish with a satisfying bitterness. A very good mild.

Fra gravity-cask på St Albans Beer & Cider festival 25 Sep 14. Ultramørkebrun. OK kremaktig skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. God aroma av røstet malt. Smaken det samme med innslag av frukt.

Cask @ Dirty Dicks, Halifax. Dark mahogany coloured with a creamy head. Aptly this has a light nutty character.
