Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a semi-clear gold color with a slight transparency about it. Sly film of a little white head slid off pretty quick to leave no lace.
The aroma had some white pepper, light Belgian yeasty/breadiness and some citrus pulp sweetness.
The flavor leaned into the sweetness at first and then developed a slight little peppery note to it. Mild aftertaste of the citrus sweetness and yeastiness. Brisk clean semi-sweet finish.
The feel was between light and medium bodied with a stable sessionability about it. Carbonation felt low but didn’t bother me. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, decent Americanized witbier that’s easy to drink and throw back on hot days.

Draft@ the brew pub. Clear gold head that stayed most of the glass. Mild Belgain yeast, citrus and pepper. The flavor is about standard for a Wit. Spicy upfront with a wheat base. The finish shows the citrus with some pepper. Light body with soft carbonation. It pretty much is what it should be and simple.

GBBF. Cloudy gold beer, little white head. Light palate, crispy and dry. Strong seltzer minerals. A little grain. Nice fruits - in a tinned syrupy kinda way. Peach and orange. Dry finish with a little fresh hops sting.

Cask at GBBF 2012. It pours cloudy golden yellow, with a medium white head. The nose is wheat, farmyard, chorizo, cream cheese and sweet banana. The taste is wheat, dough, citrus pith, orange, grapefruit, spice and banana, with a dry, light spicy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Interesting and well balanced. An enjoyable tipple.

Cask@GBBF2012. Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, mild fruityness as well as some toffeeish and sweet malty notes. Flavour is spices, honey, mild yeast, toffee and some quite fruity notes. Nice bitterness in finish. Not too much witbier in this one... (atleast in a typical Belgian way).
