The first brew for Dominion Brewery. This beer is brewed with Maris Otter Ale Malt; and Bramling Cross hops. As my mother came from Norwich, Norfolk malt was a must. Bramling Cross hops were first bred by crossing English and Manitoban hops – as close as I could get to Toronto – What’s 1,000 miles anyway! – Therefore this combination seemed to be the one to start with.

Bottle shared at the chriso Snow Tasting - London. Pours cloudy gold with a creamy white head. Tangy aroma. Medium sweet flavor with harsh malty sugars, white bread. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Hot and sugary on the finish with further white bread, ripe and tangy citrus. Not awesome.

Bottle at ChrisO Snow Tasting, thanks to Chris?? It pours hazy golden yellow with a small white head. The nose is tangerine, sweet peach, sherbet dib-dab, parma violets and faint tartness. The taste is sweet tinned fruit, tangerine, orange, sugar, subtle tartness, passion fruit, marmalade and some light booziness. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty flavoursome and well-integrated. Pretty decent actually!

Bottle at Chriso Snow Tasting, thanks to Chris I think, 20/01/13. Hazed golden amber with a good sized white head that retains well. Nose is booze, light soap, a touch on the sour side, hint of vinegar. Taste follows, yeast, orange, fruits. Full bodied with moderate carbonation. Ok.

Hazy amber beer, small off white head. Palate is softish with mild fine carbonation. Mild fresh orange well integrated with mellow orange marmalade. A little creamy malt, rich. Subtle and mellow brandy. Smooth finish. Hides the abv well and is quite drinkable.
