L42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Scopey. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and has decent fine carbonation. Light malts, trace of caramel. Mild musty Port Wine tones. Tangy ripe fruits. Light semi dry finish. Modest sourness. Nice enough but for me lacks a centre to hang it’s hat on. Hides the abv well.

Thank you tderoeck! Sampled draft @ VCBF 2017. Amber, little tanned head. Nose is sweet old leaves, heavy Port / oxidation overal, old wood. Taste is far too much oxidation, must be the Port but no Port sweetness just old leaves, sweet, sugar, old stale massive oxidized wood & oak. Body is sugar, oily. Idea sounds interesting but I get nothing wild here, just plain sweetness, old leaves & oxidation, too heavy.
