Bottle. Pours clear black, small tan head, good lacing. Aroma is rich, cocoa, bourbon, vanilla charred wood. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter. Well integrated. Medium plus body. Really nice.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Very dark brown with small beige head. Really nice whiskey barrels, feint wood, medium body, a touch boozy.

Dark brown. Thin head. Rich chocolatey character, with a lot of bourbon. On the palate, big bourbon. It's got good body, and a light fruitiness along with the chocolate, and that adds to the complexity and drinkability here. The finish is robust bourbon, and a fair bit of alcohol. Good complexity and balance to this.
Superb barrel. Chocolate/vanilla shake. Ace.
Aroma is dark chocolate, bourbon, barrel. Taste is insane, thick, viscous, smooth, perfectly integrated, just right to open. Warms as you sip with new flavors. Amazing beer.
Bourbon, vanilla, smooth, toffee. Surprisingly subtle and soft for a GI, tasty for sure but expected more.
Like it a lot more than the Angel’s Envy
