Bottle. Pours reddish amber, small tan head, decent lacing. Aroma is hella spicy. Spiced cider, apple, cinnamon. Flavor is a straight up spiced cider, plus some caramel. Medium body. Tasty. Jimmy is a nut sack

Bottle thanks to George! Pours a dark cloudy amber with snall beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong spice, nutmeg, and booze. Medium mouthfeel with a nice spice, light roast with sweet finish. Very good.

Bottle (Van Wink version with silver cap) from a trade poured into a Belgian snifter. Pours a dark ruby color with half a finger of off-white head that fades fairly quickly. Aromas of big bourbon, cinnamon, gingerbread, spices, coconut, vanilla, caramel. Tasting notes of bourbon, vanilla, light coconut, cinnamon, gingerbread cookies. Light carbonation, slightly sticky mouthfeel. More booziness as it warms. Medium body with a dry and slightly warm finish. Kind of prefer the non-barrel aged version, the bourbon is nice at first but doesn’t blend with the base beer as much as I’d hope. Maybe a different type of barrel would compliment better, or maybe this is just one that’s better without barrel aging. Still a solid brew.

Bottle @ home via the ole rotterbox. Cheers Rot! Pours a fairly clear, deep orangish brown appearance with a thin light brown head. Pretty heavy cinnamon and nutmeg, very spicy, vanilla, dark fruity, caramel aroma. Again, very spicy flavor that is straight up gingerbread with maybe a bit of cardamom. I can’t detect any barrel presence, just a lot of spices. Booze well hidden. Drinks good.

22 oz. bottle from One Stop Market, Haverhill, MA. Dark mahogany color with no head anywhere in the snifter. Aroma is nothing short of amazing. Ginger covered in cinnamon, winter mint and hints of clove. The flavor is mirror image of the aromas. It reminds me of a gingersnap cookie soaked in a whiskey barrel. The whiskey is a light nuance and the spices are the Christmas season on steroids. Medium to full in body with a rye malt finish. This bottle is for sure a year old since it was purchased in August. Really nice surprise.

Bottle. Amber with a small head. Aroma and taste of apples, cinnamon, spices, toffee, nutmeg and some fruit. Not too sweet. A real "Christmas Beer".

Pours deep mahogany into a trappist glass. Tan head quickly recedes to nothing. Nutmeg and cinnamon aromas. Thin with pumpkin, nutmeg and cinnamon turning warming in the lasting finish. Slight bourbon afterburn is nothing special, but brings the base brew up a couple of notches.

Bottle. Aroma strong strong oily cherry wood, sandal wood, lime and lemon. Very oriental feel reministent of scented burning sticks. Weird, but interesting. Clear dark brown colour. Taste is oily, strong cinnamon. Now that i think of it, aroma had it too. It is overwhelming in flavour. Strong sweetness. Really unique spicy, even oily experience.
