Carbon is our OG oatmeal stout from opening weekend! Brewed with heaps of of roasted and caramel malts, huge amounts of flaked oats, and fermented cool with our house ale yeast. Flavors of dark chocolate ganache, oatmeal cookies, and dried cherries, with a touch of smoke on the finish.

8oz pour at the brewery is a nearly opaque black with a ring of beige head. Nose has burnt malts, toast, black licorice and some coffee grounds. Flavor has malt and burnt toast, smokey even, coffee and some dark cocoa powder. Medium full bodied with a bitterness from the roast. Drinks a little bigger than it is.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Clear deep brown beer, good bubbly pale tan head. Smooth airy palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Somewhat thin feeling dark malts, slightly earthy and tangy. Oaty malts but not sweet. Good dark fruits on the back end. Fairly thin finish. A tasty but thin stout.

Brewery draught, 4/25/25.
Clear, dark. Big, tan head, good retention.
Rich base malt without excessive roast. Light chocolate and coffee notes. Clean, classic.
Big base malts provide balance for a rich coffee and chocolate character. Good roastiness, not overdone. Caramel and vanilla linger.

Can (10/22/24) from Steve. Opaque black with thin head with poor retention, trace lacing. Aroma is strong roasted oats and coffee, milder chocolate and hint of cherry. Taste is strong roasted oats and coffee, later chocolate. Smooth, thick texture, medium bodied, bitter roasted finish as taste. Good strength, good complexity given no adjuncts. Well made.
