This beer is a respectful Orcadian nod to the pale ales of America’s West Coast. Crystal malt gives the beer sweet body and US hops provide plenty of punchy, citrus flavours.

Malts: Maris Otter, Wheat, Crystal
Hops: Citra, Nelson Sauvin, Simcoe

Amber colour. Slightly fruity hop aroma w some light crystal or biscuity malt character. Sweetish and a fair bit if crystal chewiness, along with a slightly earthy hop accent. Good pale, if a bit on the intense side.

Not a huge hop presence, though it has some citrus. Barley tang with some bitterness but mostly finishes tang. Pours clear bright orange. Cask Days 2013.
