Wakefield Beer Festival 2017. Blonde in colour with a fuller-bodied hoppiness, and its strength hidden.

Says American hopped IPA, doesn't mention single hop. Light haze on this gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Thin malts, mildly sweet. Sweet pine. A kinda bitterish opal fruit citrus, lime and lesser lemon and grapefruit. Trace of citric peel. Light crisp finish. Mildly bitter citric peel linger. Clean and bright. Nice one.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. APA not IPA? Very pale, amber gold. Light haze. Suds of white. Nose has sweet wort. Stewed citrus hop. Some sticking plaster. Some burnt plastic. Taste is acrid, astringent bitterness. Some light sweetness in there. Medium body. Oily texture. Finish is astringent bitter. I honestly don’t know why I keep buying beer from this brewer. It’s a complete lottery as to the quality of the brew. This one is like a poorly made homebrew.
