Bottle @ ZZT XI. Clear rusty orange to light amber color, small white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, caramel, light to moderately bitter and a hint of something weird I canโ€™t quite put my finger on. Decent body and carbonation.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - dark honey colour with a nice head. Nose - dry biscuits cloves and honey. Taste - fruit cake, burnt raisins. Light spice and honey. Palate - close to medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - quite a few things going on. Good.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Clear amber. Film of white head. Spice. Toffee. Cinammon. Heavy on the nutmeg. Taste is dry, and burnt bitter. Soapy palate. Finishes soapy, too. I didnโ€™t think this would be my thing, and I was right. Maybe I should have had it whilst in the festive spirit.

Bright clear gold beer, good bubbly white head. Palate is light and crisp. Mild minerals. Mild marmalade. Whispers of lactose and lemon. Very mild spice and a light fruity finish. Not bad.

500ml bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield - Brass coloured body, thin white head. Nose is slightly ginger, a bit metallic. Taste is dry, uninspiring, but nothing offensive. Ilkley do much better than this.
