On tap at Old Louisville Brewery. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head that lasts. The aroma is pine and citrus. Medium body, juicy hop, pine, grapefruit, nice resin finish, good.

2017 fresh batch re-rate. Pours a clear, deep gold with a small white head that lingers. Orange and pineapple gummy bears on the nose. Super sweet on the palate, gelatin, more gummy bear notes. Low bitterness and abv hidden pretty well, just a tad too sweet for my palate though. --- Beer merged from original tick of Heller Heaven Double IPA on 26 Oct 2016 at 22:41 - Score: 8. Original review text: Real deal double ipa. Clean and crisp with loads of citrus and very light on the plate. Killer!

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Leighton. Can. Almost clear gold beer, no head. Notably flat palate for a canned beer. Light and mildly sweet malts. Spicy pine and spicy floralness. Nice light pineapple and mango. The finish brings bitterish aniseed and a trace of coconut. Tasty, shame about the carbonation.

Can at Level 42, thanks to LKS, 09/06/16. Clear golden blonde with a limited white covering. Nose is melon, light pine, straw, tangerine, soft bread. Taste comprises sweet licks, tangerine, lemon rind, grapefruit, pineapple chunks, light coconut, straw, soft bread, vanilla. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, a touch flat, semi drying close. Ok DIPA - seemed a bit lifeless though, perhaps the can took a bash in transit?

Can thanks to Leighton at level 42. It pours yellow - gold with a tiny, bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet, lychee, pineapple, tangerine, sticky fruit cake, orange muffin, bit of grassy and herbal notes. The taste is sweet, oily, tinned fruit, pineapple, lilt, sugary, buttery, grassy, straw and pepper with a short finish. Light - medium body and low carbonation. A bit flat and sweet. Not great.

Can shared in London - picked up in Lexington. Pours clear yellow-gold with a faint white head. Juicy citrus in the nose, pale bread. Medium sweet flavor, lightly floral, with hints of pine, pale bread, tangerine. Medium to full bodied with minimal carbonation. Resinous finish, lightly warming, with lots of juicy fruits, mellow piney bitterness. The condition is off. Might be a faulty seal. Otherwise, solid.
