Cash or Credit is a collaboration with the barleywine kings, Barreled Souls. In order to get this beer as complex as possible we double mashed with 100% Marris Otter malt and then boiled it for over 6 hours. We aged this liquid in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels for over a year.

500 ml bottle at Barreled Souls. Deep brown in color. Aroma is raisins, prune, mild oak. Flavor follows with soft bourbon and oak. Lots of dark fruit. Alcohol is pretty hidden. Very nice Barley Wine!

Bottle pour at brewery. Cloudy, murky brown, nice sparkle, ring of head, trace lacing.Aroma strong, balanced green apple, caramel, bourbon.Taste strong caramel, bourbon, raisin/dark fruit, vanilla.Smooth, frothy texture, soft carb, fin as taste.

Big and sweet, viscous, some coffee cake, toasted wood, toffee, bourbon, vanilla, soft earthy bitterness. Chewy, oily. Sticky and sweet to finish.

Bottle at CBJ, thanks to me. A light haze on this amber beer, small cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, pretty light for the style, good fine carbonation. Soft caramel and cream malts. Nice bourbon barrel action, forward coconut, light but tasty bourbon soaked fruits, a little bourbon spice. Airy smooth finish leaves a long spicy linger. Very much a barleywine that serves its barrel, nothing wrong with that. Very light and very very drinkable.
