Had@18th Reading Beer & Cider Fest. Golden colour, no head. Aroma is funk, some apples, toffee and quite sweet. Flavour is kind of syrupy, some ripe apples, green apple skins, some funk and mild earthy tones. Smooth and fresh, but not all too sweet. Somewhat dry palate.

BIAB sample from the 42nd Bedford Beer & Cider Festival courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Clear golden colour, no head and aroma of mucky funk. Taste is sweet, syrupy, apple, mellow with some light funky hints. Syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-dry finish. Quite OK

Cask, gravity at Merton Winter Beer Festival, 17th & 18th February 2012 Quite an unusual cider from the off, noise is pear drops and a little sweetness, I don’t get the Russet apples which I understand this primarily came from, tangy and a little bit plasticcy at times. Unusual I will admit but not totally my thing. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1
