On tap at Christian Firtal. Cloudy golden with a lasting white head. Hoppy aroma of grapefruit and lime peel, with a touch of pine. Dry and bitter flavour with citrus and pine character. Extremely bitter, with that lovely burning feeling down the throat. It would take the addition of several pounds of irony per keg, to make this a sweet and malty East Coast IPA...

From a 500ml bottle on 21/5/2013. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a big, fluffy, lasting white head. Has a lovely aroma featuring honey, and big floral and fruity notes (particularly passionfruit). The flavour features sweet citrus and stone fruits, more honey and some light caramel malt. But its the hops which ultimately hold sway, with an intense grapefruity, resiny bitterness lingering in the mouth long after its gone down the hatch. It’s quite meaty for a standard IPA and nicely carbed. A terrific, beautifully balanced IPA.

Bottled (thanks Papsoe!). Golden colour, mediumsized creamy white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, some herbal notes as well. Flavour is fruity, herbal, grassy and some mild malts and bready notes. A bit too strong hops to be pleasant.

(Draught at Man In the Moon, Stockholm) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, blood oranges, grapefruit, caramel and black-currant. Fruity, malty taste with citrus, blood orange, grapefruit, caramel, crisp-bread and a generous resinous bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Excellent IPA with a generous hop character and a solid malt foundation. Very nice.

Clear amber with a large white head that settles to an inch. Fruity aroma with kumquats, grapefruit, peach, mango, a little pine and lime leaf. Peachy sweetness and a little bread under strong bitterness with quite sharp grapefruit, lime and some pepper at the end. Bitterness is slightly excessive for my tastes. Very good.

50 cl. bottle poured in to a tulip. Hazy, orange-brown colour with a dense, white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, grapefruit, pines and sweet fruits. Caramel malts. Pleasent aroma. Taste is bitter. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Finishes long lasting bitter with fruits - bitter and sweet. Well made IPA.

500 ml bottle. Slightly cloudy golden body with a big creamy off-white head. Aroma is strong citric, pine and tropical fruit with some caramel. Flavour is sweet malt, some caramel and lots of American hops like citric fruit and pine. Quite bitter, but very pleasant. Medium body and bitter aftertaste. Another fine IPA from Amager.
