Bottle. Bier Huis, Ossett. Big pssst on opening. Very dark, clear, chestnut brown. Thick, bubbly, glossy topped, lasting, tan head. Pretty tart, fruity coffee bean. Some milk chocolate. Some vanilla. More tartness, by way of a vinous fruitiness. Decent body, although it’s a little lost behind loads of fizz. Ends tart, and light bitter. Not right, but still fairly drinkable.

A bit lively on opening. Opaque dark brown beer. A large pale tan head, but odd looking, full of big holes like a swiss cheese! Tangy dark fruit nose. Palate is light and dry with mild fine carbonation. Very mild dark chocolate. Lots of tangy dark fruits. Modest coffee, well buried. A light semi dry finish. A tangy fruity porter.

Huddersfield Beer Festival. Very dark red with an easy drinking and light texture. Has roasted malts alongside a more dominant texture.
