Keg at the brewery a while ago. Slightly darker colour than the lager, getting towards amber, but still fairly yellow. White frothy head. Aroma is a little bit creamy, and a touch grainy. Little bit prickly in the mouth. Crisp yet creamy finish. Quite nice, but a bit unremarkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Pilsner on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. At Chriso pre GBBF Shindig 2012. I thought this was quite hoppy and lemony and really quite tasty. Drinkable.

Bottle at home in London. Pours a lightly hazy yellow with a fine, foamy white head. Aroma has some lightly toasted grass, dough bread, some straw. Light to medium sweet flavor with crispy cereal, grassy bitterness, some lightly toasted bread, fresh grains. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with a modest hop bite, slight metal and citric tang, lasting grass, some toasted cereal, bread and grain. Not bad overall.
