Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012. It pours cloudy dark brown, with a thin beige head. The nose is coriander, meaty, spice and soy sauce. The taste is caramel, roasted malt, charcoal, chocolate cardboard, herbal, toast and soy sauce. Medium body and average carbonation. Interesting, but I’m just not a great fan of herbal flavours in my beer...

Dark with a tan head. Roasted malts, sweet malt, some cocoa, and just a hint of coriander in the aroma. Flavor is much like a stron schwarzbier with light coriander spicing. Very nice. (Draught at Keg, Nagoya)

Was a bit hammered when I had this, so notes arent exceptional. Lots of coriander in nose. Sweet coriander mouth. Roasted malty finish.

A black ale, something like a Scottish black, with coriander and a bit of cinnamon as well as some wheat. Pitch black with a tall, fine, frothy head that quickly went to a nice lace. Aroma of coriander, creamy roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Well burnt, with a slight bit of sweetness. Creamy, with chocolate malt, coriander, hops, and a touch of sour fruit. Great balance. Roasted, sweet and sour finish. Excellent and extremely original and interesting.
