ChrisOs Marvellous Pre GBBF Mega Tasting. Light haze on this gold beer, little white head. Light dry palate. Sweet malts and sweet and slightly tangy dried fruits. Minerals. Dry finish.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012, London. Pours hazy, light gold with a fine, white foam head. Some light and dry citrus fruits on the nose. Medium sweet flavor, lots of white sugar, dry dough. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Further basic sugar and doughy malts to finish. Nice stuff.

Bottle 500ml. @ chriso s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2012.Light unclear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, grass - leather. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, malty, light fruity, sour malt notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120804]

Bottle at Chris O’s pre-GBBF shindig 2012. Cloudy dark yellow pour with a white head. Citrus and pineapple aroma. Citrus and light malt flavour.

Bottled@chriso pre-gbbf shindig 2012. Goldeny amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, citrusy and mildly earthy. Flavour is caramel, some slight fruity, citrusy and floral notes along with mild earthy and bready notes. Pleasant golden ale.

Golden amber, clear, no head only a few bubbles
Aroma of light honey caramel, light orange
Taste of light caramel malts, soft citrus fruits, touch of orange, odd plasticy note which is a bit off putting, hint of manure
Palate - very soft carb to flat, thin to medium body, bit viscous texture. Finish light orange citrus fruit, digestive biscuit in the finish
Overall - Some odd flavours in there spoilt it for me

Cask, handpump at The Guildford, Edinburgh in company of Craig & Loz 29.10.10 Pours mid gold with a white head. I was expecting this to be really hoppy but it’s not so hoppy really. Some lovely creamy vanilla with fudge & toffee. There is a little bitterness on the back end and those shy hops eventually start to shine. A6 A5 T8 P4 Ov14 3.7
