Moderately hazy, maize-golden body is well-carbonated creating a small but fairly dense, white head that shows moderately-strong retention.
Juicy mango, pineapple and meyer lemon in the nose are backed by soft, biscuity and honey-filled malts. Light peppery spice and fresh, lightly dank greenery on the end help perk things up and provide more depth than the tropical and lightly citric fruits show up front. Very clean, with no alcohol, flaw and very little resin.
Juicy pineapple and meyer lemon mixes with leafy, lime zest and vegetal greenery. Black pepper, and light grains in the background providing some complexity in the texture with the main force of the malt being soft and well-attenuated, adding gentle sweetness. Tight carbonation and low resin. Gets pretty full-bodied with lots of malt and bready texture as it warms, but due to the dryness and elegance of the hop treatment, it never gets fatiguing nor does the alcohol come through overtly or sharply. I think I liked Pieces of Eight a little more, but this was excellent in its own right. When Foley Bros beers are on, as this one is, they come off much lighter than their abv would suggest and with bright, highly aromatic hop characteristics.

Pours slightly hazed gold into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Sweet mango and passion fruit aromas. Soft and dry with papaya and pineapple upfront turning to dried mango in the lasting finish. Nice.

16 oz. can thanks to Willrunforbeer. Huge citrus, mild tropical fruits on the aroma. Flavor is peach fuzz, apricot, grapefruit rind, and orange peel. Mild bitterness and a surprisingly mellow caramel malt bill. The caramel is notable bit will come out after a few weeks sitting. Drinks lighter than the gravity. Still real nice!

T42 Bottleshare. Big thanks to Leighton for the can, Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, decent fine carbonation. Light sweetish creamy malts. Lovely light piney hop. Smooth soft hop skunk. Mild spice. More smooth pine. Light citrus and a little citric peel. Mild tropical fruits. Smooth piney finish. Very light and well integrated and so drinkable.

Bottle shared on Level 42 12/01/2016. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a halo of white head. Dank orange aroma, resinous pine orange, tangerine. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, funky orange, sticky pine needle, juicy hop, . Palate is semi sweet and sticky, moderate carbonation really good.

Can split at Happy New Years L42 Shim Sham, big thanks to Leighton, 12/01/17. Clear light golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is orange wine gums, grassy note, dank hops, pine resin, grapefruit, orange pith, toasted bread. Taste comprises juicy citric rinds, straw, tangerine, orange pith, grapefruit, pine resin. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with dank hop bitterness. Solid DIPA, great balance and drinkability.
