Notting Hill Amber is a full-bodied creamy amber coloured beer with the citrus aroma and flavour well balanced by the sweet slightly toffee maltiness and a bitter dryness that lingers. There is a little flowery hop throughout. Its drinkability belies its strength.

Bottle, thanks Junco. Aroma of cardboard, apple, not much else. Taste is similar apple, light hoppy spikiness. Bit earthy citra style. Not sure to be honest.

(Cask at White Horse, Parson's Green, London, 27 May 2018) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of apricots, orange peel and rye bread. Malty taste with rye bread, orange peel, apricots and a balanced citric/herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced with fresh hops coming through. Nice one.

Bottle at Moncada Tap Room, London, Friday, 11th December 2015 This was a really hoppy version of the Amber that Ang had gone and rooted out, appearing much hoppier than the usual version this batch was lovely. I can’t recall what Ang said the exact hops were but I believe that amazingly for me I managed to pick out Colombus. It was as you might guess amber in colour with citrussy and pine resin notes, very hoppy mouthfeel, a very good beer. A8 A4 T7 P3 Ov15 3.7

Flaske, i brasseriet på OXO Tower: klar kobbergylden med fint skum helt ned. BehGelig aroma og smak av toffee, ananas, fersken og ristet brød. God balanse og munnfølelse. Drikker gjerne denne igjen.

(Cask at Gallows Bird Magna Carta Real Ale Festival 2015) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was small, dense and white. Aroma had pine, fruitiness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were pine, malts, fruitiness, caramel and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. A brew with good aroma but the taste was musty.
