Bottle @ Hotelroom, Rethymnon. Pours golden with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, hay, little citrusly hops. Flavor is rather sweet with malt, light bread, sugar, littel citrus. Thin body, lively carbonation. 160813

Brutal Brewing has brought me a first, craft beer in a plastic bottle! It is ridiculously light & seems hard to break so it’d be perfect for a traveller like me wanting to bring beers home. A low price of maybe 15SEK(250 yen) leads me to suspect I may be underwhelmed as does the fact it is a lager but it’s made using cascade & Amarillo so shouldn’t be so bad... A decent orange gold with a light beige head. The aroma is light citrus & biscuit notes with maybe a touch of funk. The taste is pretty good, nice silky mouthfeel, citrus, biscuit & a dry slightly astringent finish.

Medium offwhite head. Clear brown body with light carbonation. Light earthy wooden caramelly aroma with perfumy cocos notes. Dry-sweet caramelly earthy taste with spicy notes. Mid-to-thin body. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dryish spicy caramelly aftertaste with wooden nutty notes. Quite nice, but a little dull. (0.33l PET bottle, Systembolaget Nordstan, Göteborg.)

Bottle in my Stockholm hotel room. Bright clear amber - gold beer. Small bubbly off white head. Light crisp palate. Neutral malt (not lagerish). Trace of citric hops. Finishes crisp. Not too bad!

Plastic bottle (Spendrups pls). Clear, light amber liquid with small to medium white head. Aroma of biscuit, grass, grain and cooked vegetables. Sure, some malty and hoppy qualities, but still not good. Taste is dry and light bitter with notes of biscuit, grain and cooked vegetables. Medium bodied with a bit high carbonation. This Pistonhead gimmick is getting boring.
