1st BBQ of the year: 30th Mar 2021, it's Bertie's Birthday, so I decided to get rid of all my shit stuff in one long drunken session. This was the eight and final one, thank goodness I stopped! 500ml can: BB Sep 2021. I've got a headache.

440ml can. Look - very clear and very pale; ominous Nose - artificial, sulphur, apples; ominous Taste - sweeteners, apple flavouring, minor alcohol burn; very poor but not a drain pour. Palate - light bodied at first and yet very dry to the extent of being rubbery in texture. How does that work? Also element of tooth rot feeling. Overall - Its one of those extremely slow poisons that just passes health and safety. Drink a can a day for 10 years and you will have aged by 15 years and be wearing dentures.

50cl can from B&M. No head. Clear golden pour. chemical. Not a great cider.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a clear hint of golden with a white head. Aroma is fruity, apple, rubber tires. Taste is fruity, apple, tannins, dry in the finish.

19/7/2020. Can bought at the Premier store between the Duke of York and where my lift was waiting to take me home. Also bought some Mexican style curly crisps with freshly ground peanuts which were really nice. Alas the cider was not. Sweet, slight sour edge, vague apple, fairly fizzy, not really cider. Very much park bench fodder. But it’s Bedfordshire!

Tall boi can served at home, generously delivered to Colorado by the Honourable Leighton. Thanks! Can price of £1.25. Very light yellow appearance with a fuzzy head that disappears incredibly quickly. Aroma is a stale, dull apple smell with a bit of white wine and chemicals. Not overly scented. Medium thin body. Moderate plus sweetness. No bitterness to speak of. It’s bland as all hell but it’s not offensive. Pretty easy to chug this boring sumbitch. Not a bad tramp cider.

500ml can. Pours pale gold with high carbonation. Aroma is twigs and chemicals. Taste is twiggy, some mulch. Shitty cheap apple juice that's a few days off. £1.25 a can though, plenty of same strength tramp juice for 89p. It's doing the trick, mind.

440ml can from local Bargain Booze. 7.5% Gaymer Cider Co. Clear watery pale yellow colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of tart woody apple skin & sulphur. Taste is chemically, articial sweetener with vague hints of sourish apple flavour. Slick mouthfeel, light bodied, medium carbonation, dry boozy finish.

Appearance: Clear light yellow color with a small bubbly white head.
Aroma: A bit sweet apple fruity.
Palate: Medium light body. Sweet and an average carbonation.
Taste: Sugary and some apples. Well hidden alcohol.
Overall impression: Probably the worst British cider I have ever tasted. Strange light stuff for an 7,5% cider. I am normally a cider fan.
