Cask at the Bishops Arms Gustav Adolf Tors Malmo, RBESG ’15 day 2, 21/08/15. Clear golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is caramel, light fruit, vanilla, bread dough. Taste comprises mellow citrics, caramel, light orange. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Dull.

Cask during RBESG2015, Day 2, Malmö, Sweden - fuzzy golden coloured pour with white head. Subdued citrus fruity and bready malty aroma and taste, some caramel sweetness, picking up some buttery notes, grassy hoppy into a medium bitter finish. Okish

Cask sample at Bishops Arms. Slightly hazy, golden colour with a thin, white head. Fruity aroma with caramel malts, fruits, citrus and a butterish note. Taste is bitter. Finishes dry and bitter. Okay, apart from the butterish notes.

BBE 30.06.2015 - Pours murky orange with a small head. Aroma of grainy malts, earthy notes, hints of grass, pine and resin. Taste is crisp, grainy and earthy with some hints of hops, grass and resin. Finish is malty, earthy and grainy, hints of bitterness. A bit dull.

Flaska från SB. Mild ren doft där det första som slår mot nosen är brödiga kex. Därefter en lätt blommig doft med citrus. Bra beska och en hyfsat hög maltsötma. Kanske lite för söt. Mjuk och len munkänsla. Lite mer humle doft och den hade varit hemma.

Flaske delt med Einar, mars-15: lett uklar, oransje kobberfarge med kort filmskum. God floral aroma med grapefrukt, mandarin og nyslått gress. Det gressaktige kommer behagelig frem i smaken, i fin balanse med citrus og furu. Mild bitterhet i ettersmaken. Mange gode smaksinntrykk i bare 4,8% og meget lett å helle innenfor snippen.

A light orange beer with a quite weak and blond head. Aroma is strongly citrusfruity, peaches, caramel, some mandarin. Taste has caramel malts, oranges, peaches, some pine, the bitterness is more noticed in the end and that’s slightly herbal. Medium and nice bodied, quite smooth. Quite nice and citrusfruity beer.

Aroma is rather nice with sweet, tropical fruits and some caramel tones. Flavour has herbal bitterness, grapefruit, some tropical fruits and distant plastic tones. Finishes with stronger herbal tones. Unusual, the herb tones do not fit here. I wonder if they are the result of NZ hops?
