My Antonia (named after the Willa Cather read), is a continually-hopped imperial pilsner. This lager for ale lovers is citrusy, sweet and refined.
My Antonia started out as a collaboration beer when Sam brewed it at Birra del Borgo (hope you can read Italian) outside Rome, Italy, with owner/brewer Leonardo DiVencenzo in October 2008. In 2010, we began brewing My Antonia here in Delaware for U.S. distribution.
As an aside, in June 2009, Leonardo came over to Delaware and brewed our original batch of Namaste with us at our Rehoboth Beach brewpub. And Leo is also one of the brewers involved in the Eataly project in New York City. What goes around, comes around.

Bottled. Golden pour - not shiny but somewhat opaque - a nice head. Good aromatics of malts and other stuff. Nice hops. Very complex.

Sweet pale malt aroma with a faint grassy hop presence. Normal carb, normal mouthfeel. More very sweet malts, but the hops fade in the finish, not my fav in the style.

750ml bottle thanks to Eric pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is grassy citrus hops some sweet grain bread notes. Taste is more of the nice crisp hops and a well balanced malt bill.

Pours hazy gold with a frothy white head that lingers. A sticky lacing clings to the glass. Aroma is citrus, and kind of peppery, but all in all fairly restrained. Taste lightly bitter with some tangerine notes up front, proceeding to a dry, peppery finish. Good stuff.

Large bottle (1 US Pint 9.4 US oz) shared with my Son-in-Law in California on 1st Feb 2017. Slight haze to the golden brew, sediment arrived in the third pour: white head hung around longer than most larger/pilsners. Hop laden, but not overly bitter in flavour: nose has weak hop notes, floral and piney mostly. Pleasant taste, a light sweetness toys with the hop content to produce an easy drinking 7.5% ABV beer which almost hides it’s strength.

Tap at Mikkeller Bangkok. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is grassy hop, citrus, yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big tropical fruit, yeast, light toothpaste bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Super fruity with well controlled alcohol.

(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 15 Sep 2014) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with citrus, grass, peaches and a touch of resin. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, grass, bread and a generous resiny bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with balanced sweetness. Fresh lager with a generous hop profile. Nice one.
