CBJ Tasting. Bottle. Dark cola brown. Thin tan head. Aroma has chili over dsrk chocolate. Flavourwise it's then suprisingly sweet. Boozy chocolates. Peripheral low key spice. Medium bodied. oily. Soft-average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish.

Incredibly rich. Sweet yes. Rounded dark malts. Toffee, stewed dark fruits. Nip of cocoa. Not bad. Hearty.

Tasting at CBJ, thanks to me. Opaque dark brown beer, small and very short lived bubbly tan head. Smooth and viscous palate, mild fine carbonation, fine for this style. Smooth dark chocolate and milk chocolate malts, slightly dry. Mellow chilli spice. Soft fruity bourbon barrel. The chilli comes back on the fairly soft finish. Nice layered. Rich but incredibly drinkable.

Pour at Snallygaster 2025. Poured a pitch black color with a small tan head. Aroma was big dark chocolate, light sweet malts, with some spicy notes. Flavor was subtle spice, with roasted malts, chocolate, and some bourbon.

Dark sweet and roasted with opulent chocolate, layers of maple and caramel malty sweetness, some coffee roast, full body and mouthfeel, some nice spices into the dark malty finish. Lovely.

Rated at Juova Hanahuone. Sweet, smooth and intensely roasty with some spices, vanilla, chocolate sauce, cocoa, barrel and syrupy notes. Quite sweet and heavy but tasty spicy pastry stout
