Thanks to my little bro for buying this from Cesis. Clear deep ruby color, mostly vanishing small beige head. Light aroma has some cardboard and toasted notes. Light to medium-bodied. Caramelly, lots of licorice candy, medicinal flavor. Watery finish. Not too bad.

Bottle at Pat’s birthday chriso tasting, London. Pours clear, red-brown with a medium, beige head. Sweet, dark chocolate malt nose. Very sweet flavor, plenty of dark malts, candy, cheap chocolate, caramel. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with some sticky sugars, dark malts, and caramel. Alright for what it is; the Latvian dunkels get no love.
